What better way to test a Wowza Media Server than by streaming one of my favorite documentaries? In BBC Horizon episode “Homeopathy, the Test”, the excellent science series instigates its very own scientific experiment, testing the efficacy of homeopathy.
Great TV, as interesting for its results as for the vivid and lively demonstration of scientific method. A cream of the crop team of scientist, great editing and to spice things up even more, a very real one million dollars hanging in the balance depending on the outcome. Although many researchers now offered proof that the effects of homeopathy can be measured, none have yet applied for James Randi’s million dollar prize. For the first time in the programme’s history, Horizon decided to conduct their own scientific experiment.
